Course Details

~CPR-AED for the Community and Workplace: Provides individuals with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective basic life support in an emergency.
 
~CPR Pro for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Providers: accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). The program has been also been approved by many state health agencies and may be used to meet the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization’s (JCAHO) Resuscitation Standard.
 
~Basic and Advanced First Aid: Program participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like bleeding,shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reaction, diabetic and seizures is shared.
 
~Pediatric First Aid for Caregivers and Teachers (PedFACTS):  This course is designed to give teachers and caregivers the eductation and confidence that they need to effectively care for children.
 
~Bloodborne Pathogens:  Program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.
 
~Wilderness Emergency Care:  Program supports a family of courses to meet the needs of everyone with outdoor interests, from easy day trips to challenging and technical activities, including wilderness rescue.
 
          Basic Wilderness First Aid is an intensive 8 hour course for those who are involved in wilderness recreation. This course may also meet the needs  of        volunteers and professionals who lead groups on short trips in relatively low-risk situations. 

          Standard Wilderness First Aid is a 16 hour course for those who are involved in serious wilderness activities. This course is the choice of many wilderness trip leaders and guides.

          Advanced Wilderness First Aid is a 40 hour course for wilderness professionals and others who want a higher level of training.

          Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid is a 16 hour course designed for Boy Scouts to obtain their first aid merit badges and become proficient at handling emergencies while on an outing.
 
~Emergency Oxygen administration: is a critical step in treating a severe or life-threatening illness or injury. This program focuses on administering emergency oxygen, rescue breathing and oxygen delivery devices.
 
~Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training (BLAST):  is an important training program for potential babysitters and parents considering hiring a babysitter. The BLAST! program is exciting and interactive, providing extensive training in pediatric first aid, household safety, and the fundamentals of childcare.
 
~Pet First Aid:  The immediate care given to an injured or suddenly ill pet as temporary assistance until competent veterinary care is available. Properly applied first aid can save your pet’s life, reduce recovery time and be the difference between temporary disability and lifelong disability. This program concentrates on basic first aid care. It is not intended to replace veterinary care, but rather to instruct the pet owner on how to save a pet’s life during an emergency or to minimize a pet’s trauma after an injury.
 
~Fleet Driver Safety:  The Fleet Driver Safety course provides drivers with skills to operate safely on the roads, the ability to protect themselves from injury and accidents, and the knowledge to best represent the company for which they drive. The course covers defensive driving strategies and incidence avoidance, basic traffic laws and procedures, and more.
 
~Instructor Development Course (IDC)Program is designed to provide a strong foundation in teaching knowledge and skills to anyone interested in becoming an ECSI authorized instructor or training center.
 
~Prehospital Management of Traumatic Brain Injury:  This course is designed by the Brain Trauma Foundation in order to better treat those victims suffering from traumatic brain injuries.  It is structured for BLS and ALS providers with an EMT certification or above. The course covers prehospital assessment, treatment and transportation decisions of TBI patients. 
 
~Blended Learning:  This is a great alternative to spending a lot of hours in a classroom.  It is designed for businesses or individuals who are under time restraints.  The program offers you the opportunity to take the interactive classroom portions online in a fraction of the time.  Then we set up a time to do a short performance evaluation.  (Usually 1 hr per 10 students depending on course).
